Recently the Director of the CIA has told Russia that if they are behind the multiple attacks on US personnel using what is suspected as directed energy, there would be “consequences”. [1]
Havana Syndrome is the term used for the concussion-like symptoms the victims of these suspected attacks experience. These symptoms include dizziness, unsteadiness, cognitive impairments, and hearing loss. [2]
In other words, these are attacks on the situational awareness capabilities of our Diplomats and Operators, affecting the sensory systems (vision, hearing, vestibular, and somatosensory systems) and processing speed.
The enemies of the United States know that they do not have to directly attack our output capabilities- they can target the input (sensory systems) and processing to paralyze the output.
We cannot be reactionary to this threat.
If our enemies see the importance of the sensory systems for our readiness, so must we.
To be ready for this threat, our medical and vestibular rehabilitation experts must be capable of identifying and treating this issue acutely. [3] And our operatives and performance specialists must incorporate maximizing the performance of the sensory systems and processing speed into training.
Let us strengthen the systems they are attacking.
