About

Hi! I’m Dr. Dani Fennerty and I am the Founder of Subconcussive Consult, LLC.

I created Subconcussive Consult, LLC to bring awareness to the subconcussive exposures tactical athletes face, how they affect readiness, and to offer proactive performance-based solutions consistent with the values of the tactical community.

Tactical athletes value readiness.

At a moments notice they must be prepared to execute under the most extreme and unpredictable conditions. The only constant in the environments they perform in is chaos.

Because of this, every millisecond counts.

I have worked with countless tactical athletes throughout my career as a Physical Therapist. I’ve worked with elite active duty operators as a civilian on Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM), and with 100 year old WWII veterans as a travel therapist.

I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University in 2011. I have advanced vestibular certifications from the Emory Vestibular course as well as the Military Vestibular course at Walter Reed Medical Center.

While at JBLM I created vestibular and acute concussion clinics to address these important soldier needs and was nominated for a Commander’s Award for my efforts.

But I saw a gap in the options for tactical operators when it came to proactive training the sensory systems vital for situational awareness. As I grew my knowledge around the insidious effects of subconcussions and the prevalence of subconcussive exposures in the tactical community, I felt a need to do more.

Because tactical athletes have the most skin the the game.

My mission is to provide tactical athletes with the skills to optimize the performance of their situational awareness systems- helping redefine what is possible for human performance and improving quality of life well after retirement.
